The Best Time to Start Treatment
Between the ages of 11 and 15 is the ideal time to get braces or Invisalign, whether it’s your first round or Phase II of your orthodontic treatment. This is because by 12-years-old, the majority of the permanent teeth are in and we can clearly see misalignments of the teeth and jaws. Since you’re still developing, we can take advantage of growth spurts and your high metabolism (we wish that lasted forever!) for shorter, more effective and more comfortable treatment.
