Dr. Jenny Yoo-Park
Dr. Yoo grew up in Saratoga, California. After college, she headed across the country to Philadelphia where she graduated at the top of her class from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She then went on to earn her orthodontic certificate and master’s degree in craniofacial biology from the University of Southern California. During her three years of advanced training in orthodontics, Dr. Yoo even attended courses around the world to develop her expertise. She continues to take classes in order to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in the field to deliver the best possible care to her patients.
Dr. Yoo is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society and the Bay Area Orthodontic Study Club.
Opening Palo Alto Orthodontics has allowed Dr. Yoo the opportunity to get to know so many fantastic patients and their families. She truly enjoys being a positive part of their lives and believes everyone should have a smile they’re excited to share with others. Dr. Yoo is married to Chul-Kyun (“CK”) Park, a pediatric anesthesiologist and has two amazing kids, Hunter and Siena. They also have a female goldendoodle named Charlie who enjoys coming to the office almost as much as Dr. Yoo does! In her free time, Dr. Yoo is a fan of running, hiking, biking, scuba diving and reading.
Dr. Marianne Demirdji
Dr. Marianne grew up in Southern California wanting to be an orthodontist since she was 13 years old. She attended La Sierra University in Riverside, CA where she earned a Chemistry, B.S. with a minor in Biology. After college, she went to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry to complete her dental training. Ready for a change in location, she ventured to northern California for her orthodontic residency at University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Marianne truly loves her profession not only because she provides beautiful smiles to people, but also gets to know the people behind those smiles. She enjoys all aspects of her profession ranging from serving in organized dentistry to serving on both local and international dental mission trips. Dr. Marianne recognizes the orthodontic field is rapidly advancing and strives to stay on the cusp of latest treatment modalities to better serve her patients by attending training courses and lectures regularly. She is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
Dr. Marianne is ecstatic to be a part of the Palo Alto Orthodontics family and is looking forward to meeting all of the amazing patients. She lives in San Francisco and is currently planning her upcoming wedding! She enjoys exploring coffee shops and restaurants, hiking all over the Bay Area, weight-lifting, and spending time with her fiance.
