Dr. Yoo grew up in Saratoga, California. After college, she headed across the country to Philadelphia where she graduated at the top of her class from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She then went on to earn her orthodontic certificate and master’s degree in craniofacial biology from the University of Southern California. During her three years of advanced training in orthodontics, Dr. Yoo even attended courses around the world to develop her expertise. She continues to take classes in order to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in the field to deliver the best possible care to her patients.
Dr. Yoo is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society and the Bay Area Orthodontic Study Club.
Opening Palo Alto Orthodontics has allowed Dr. Yoo the opportunity to get to know so many fantastic patients and their families. She truly enjoys being a positive part of their lives and believes everyone should have a smile they’re excited to share with others. Dr. Yoo is married to Chul-Kyun (“CK”) Park, a pediatric anesthesiologist. They have a female goldendoodle named Charlie who enjoys coming to the office almost as much as Dr. Yoo does! Now they have welcomed their son, Hunter, in January 2017! In her free time, Dr. Yoo is a fan of running, hiking, biking, scuba diving and reading.
Dr. Elizabeth Eve
Dr. Elizabeth Eve grew up in Fremont, California. She moved to the East Coast to attend Harvard College where she received a bachelor’s degree with honors in molecular and cellular biology. She continued her education at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and was recognized for her leadership and community service efforts while earning her DMD.
Inspired by her own experience with braces, Dr. Eve returned to the Bay Area for a three year orthodontic residency program at UCSF. There, she obtained an orthodontic specialty certificate and a master’s degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. Her research focused on precision medicine and personalized healthcare and she is dedicated to tailoring her approach to match each patient’s and family’s individual goals in a fun, comfortable environment.
Dr. Eve feels very fortunate to live in the beautiful Bay Area and is excited to contribute to the Palo Alto community through orthodontics. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, and hiking with her husband, Dan, and dog, Sky.
